What do you mean by images that are too large?

Images that are too large do cause a problem if there is expected to be an image and
none is
included, I forget what the resulting error is though.

There should always be a try_reduce_bpp=1 or the other method to reduce dimension
turned on, so
that an image will always be included if it is supposed to be.

There is a bug report on this, mentioning that there should be default of either
try_reduce_bpp=1 or the other one set to 1. The default is currently both=0, which
makes for
lost images if too large, and not specified in the .ini. You can compare that to your
error
message.

What is the date stamp of the software (on the About screen)?
There was a GUI widget added in the recent times that selected either reduce size or
reduce
depth, so that always one or the other is included. (This widget is on the the
configure
channel dialog).

Best wishes,
Robert
