I download the International Herald Tribune with
Plucker every day. I use Windows XP, Plucker 1.2.0.2. I set spidering to 3
links, no images, stayonhost. Also, I use ADSL, and it still takes over an hour
to download and convert the file.
Questions:
1. Why does Plucker download all the 2300+ files
every time instead of just downloading the new ones (probably just a fraction of
that)?
2. How can I use passwords w/Plucker? I have a
username, psw with The New York Times, but Plucker can't download articles since
I have to log in first.
3. Any suggestion to speed up plucking large
files would be appreciated. I use a BW Visor and prefer Plucker to
Avantgo.
