Mac OS 10.2 help

I can't figure out what went wrong but I downloaded the installer from your link and it's not doing anything that I can tell... It goes though the installer and loaded the files but there's no application for me to "use"... I don't know very much about setting up files and compiling them, well nothing at all really, And I was wondering if there was any advice for a really inexperienced user to get this software working on my handspring and my mac...
