        Not in the law's eyes, no. You aren't actually redistributing that
content, in modified form, to OTHER users, without the permission of the
copyright holders. You are more than welcome to point Plucker to
webpages you want, spider them, and read them on your own device, since
that falls under "Fair Use". Once you remove the banners, ads, condense
the text, change a font, whatever, and give that to another user, you
are now (potentially) in violation of copyright and transcoding laws,
where applicable. 

        That's why I said let's find a way to provide this service, while still
remaining on the good side of the content providers. After all, we want
them on our side, not sitting across from us in a court of law.
