I will still not agree with you that it is a bug ;-)

Does it stop you from reading the document? Does it
crash the viewer if the document is larger than 32k?

When we created the Plucker format (it is an evolving
format, however) we decided that this is the way we
will handle the 32k limit (this was in 1999.) Before
this change any "page" larger than 32k would just be
cut off the text after the 32k limit (now that's a
bug:) However, if you want a different solution then
it is a feature request and not a bug.
