Couple of comments: 1. I just installed JPluck 0.9 beta 2 from the site (with the bundled conduit and not the alpha 4 release). I setup a single channel to pluck and setup the conversion profile. However, when I hit hotsync, JPluck fails: Device does not have an expansion slot. Communications Error: Unknown error. (2901) JPluck exit code 4
The conduit is set to use my one and only jxl file. The conversion profile is my one and only conversion profile. The sync mode is "Sync documents when the become available". The channels destination is "Default Setting from Conversion Profile". The conversion profile destination is Hotsync with my one and only user name selected. The sync to memory card box is unchecked. Converting the channel through the JPluck program works fine. I'm running a Palm IIIx (without expansion slot), Win2k, Hotsync 4.1.0, and JRE 1.4.1_01. 2. I previously had my Plucker conduit installed and when I ran your installer the conduit install failed (obviously). Perhaps you can have a message box come up asking to uninstall the other conduit. 3. Is it possible to set the conduit to run a JRE from a particular location? I'd like to keep 1.4 for JPluck only since I do all my dev work with 1.3 and need 1.3 on my path. 4. Would it be easy to add a Word doc conversion? I'm thinking of adding it (using a call to wvware to do the conversion). I haven't looked at the source yet though.
