Whatever I said was FALSE, Plucker Desktop's conduit does CLOSE 
AUTOMATICALLY it's correctly configured. I think I confused MobiPocket's 
conduit instead.

However, the double-byte character issue and page parsing with parameters 
issue remainds in doubt.

Way to go Plucker and Plucker Desktop devteam! :-)
