Not very mature? There was no receive handling at all in 1.2 ;-) When the beam support was added a long time ago I decided to leave it up to the Launcher app to handled received documents (to keep it simple.) However, when investigating a bug report from a user last year I found out that if you try to beam a file with a '.' in the name the Launcher app would refuse to accept it, so I added receive support to the viewer after 1.2 was released. However, this also gave the result that you can't beam documents from a post-1.2 version to a 1.2 or earlier version, since the viewer now specifies the viewer as the target and since those older versions don't contain any support for receiving beamed documents they will never accept the document... BTW, it you try to beam a document from a 1.2 viewer to a recent viewer you will see that it doesn't ask if you want to accept the document into 'Plucker', but instead ask if you want to accept it into 'Applications' (a.k.a. the Launcher app.) /Mike _______________________________________________ plucker-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-list
