Hi, I am having a problem with my windows installation of plucker desktop. It works fine when updating channels which go no lower than 2 links, but when selecting 3 links as the limit, it seems to grind my computer's puny brain to a very slow crawl.
It seems to be Python.exe which slows things down. Strangely the CPU is fine - it seems to be the memory usage which is maxing out. 4 hours later the application hasn't even got 15% of the way through the site. I'm using a standard Dell GX150. CPU is a P3, 127 MB RAM. Running Windows 2000. NB. I love plucker and think it is way better than Avant Go. I really like the way you can store the DBs on an SD card!
