You have the hotsync option turned off.  This might not be an option in
your Plucker Desktop version, it's in the latest though.  You need to go
into Options - Preferences and change the Autoupdate option if you want.
If it's on Never, you'll get the message in your hotsync that the Hotsync
Update is turned off.

Here's what's supposed to happen.  If the Plucker Desktop is not running in
the background, and you hit the hotsync button on the cradle, the conduit
checks to see if the autoupdate is not Never.  If it's not Never, then it
asks Plucker Desktop to update all due channels.  Then the hotsync installs
the resulting databases.

So the message above is normal and just indicates that you set the
Autoupdate to Never.  Does the database show up on the Palm?  If not, have
you selected a device in Plucker Desktop for it to go to?
