Now I use hires version 20030222, but I would like it to be more quick, as it is just too slow. Especially when I wait for longer pages rendering (say, AOL Pocket Press), I can put my HandEra to pocket and have a short coffee break :-)
First off I would say is try downloading 20030522-am off of hires.plkr.org, see if it helps w/ speed.
I'm very sorry, I meant 20030522 and wrote 20030222, It's dark night here... I should go sleep, tired I am :-)
Of course I have 20030522 now (about 3 days) and I think there is no speed bonus. Maybe when I return to already rendered page, it is little faster... but overall it is the same.
In fact, there are only two things I miss in Plucker: speed (hi-res
version) and tables (they are worked on). Now it seems that tables are only in 1.4beta and hi-res only in hires branch.
I should have a 1.4beta ready to go for Mike shortly. I'm not sure where it'll be distrobuted but I'll get it ready.
