I also took the plunge with the Handera beta OS (410) and it works very good. This also prompted me to try JPluck out again and it worked without issues with JPluck 0.9 RC7. I have been syncing my documents to a 128MB SD card and read them with the hi-res 20030611-am viewer. The beta 4.1 OS for Handera made a dramatic performance boost for SD card access.

Now, I just have to figure out how to get my comics moved over to JPluck and get it to run as a scheduled task/cron job.

Greetings,

In the past I've used JPluck (beta 4 I think) & conduit successfully
on my HandEra 330 running PalmOS 3.5.3. Hotsync to card does not work
on this OS.

Recently I upgraded my HE 330 to a beta PalmOS 4.1 ROM. Since Hotsync
to card should work on this OS, I'd give JPluck a go. I uninstalled
the JPluck beta (mistake?), and installed JPluck 2. With JPluck 2,
documents go to /Palm/Launcher on the card, but Plucker can't locate
them there. (Should it be able to? They appear on the index but
cannot be read or deleted by plucker. This is hi-res 20030611-am.)

Then I recalled (actually, pointed out on this list) that the JPluck
conduit lets you specify the card installation directory. So I
installed JPluck 0.9 RC7. Now, HotSync crashes whenever the JPluck
conduit is enabled.

Has anyone else managed to get the JPluck conduit to install into
/Palm/Programs/Plucker on their HE 330 with OS 4.1 beta installed?

(This ability is the main reason I want a beta OS 4.1 on my HE 330.)

BTW, how does one configure the conduit to install to RAM or the card?
I only see options to choose the card directory, not whether to use
the card at all. (I never paid attention to this before, because it
never worked on my device anyway, with PalmOS 3.5.3.)

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards,
David
