Alan,

I've noticed that if I try to pluck pages while the hourglass cursor is still visible, then the plucks fail.  If I wait until the  normal cursor appears then plucks work fine.  You might try waiting a bit ...

When I fire up JPluck 0.9 the hourglass cursor takes quite a while to disappear after all my channels are listed. JPluck also takes a long time to shut down. What is the applicaiton doing that takes so long during these times?

I just tried BBC News and it works fine. The only thing I can think
of is that your internet connection wasn't working at that time.
Please try again. There have been some changes to the code, but none
that should cause a timeout. Will keep an eye out for similar bug
reports.

I double-checked at the time and my internet connection was working fine - I
copied and pasted the address into IE and it loaded no problem. I tried
both last night and this morning with 0.9FINAL and it came up with the
errors. Re-installed 0.9RC6 immediately after 0.9F failed this morning and
it worked fine. Thoughout the whole time I was still able to use the net.

To be honest I'm not overly bothered - RC6 works very well and I don't
thinking I'm missing out on much by not being able to use the final version.
I'll probably just keep running RC6 until JPluck 2.0 gains a GUI (prob in
the Autumn?).

Thanks for all your work on JPluck to date - it really is a brilliant
program

Kind regards,

Alan
