Laurens,

I'm currently using JPluck 0.9 to parse to my Visor Neo. As mentioned before on this list, there are crashing issues with Plucker, period, for this model, but I've learned to work around them by eliminating images on some sites.

Question: If I download 2.0 prerelease, will it be helpful to you? Are you interested in how it's working for the Visor line? Or should I just wait for the final release? Glad to help if I can, but I'll gladly wait if it makes no difference to you.

By the way, thanks for JPluck!!! It's fast, powerful...I haven't timed it out really, but I think it's a bit faster than Avantgo for me. It definitely leaves the Python-based program far behind.

I just released JPluck 2.0 pre8. [1]

The most important change is the new <br> handling, which results in documents that should render (much) faster in the Viewer. See the changelog [2] for details.

This version adds support for the Expression Language [3], which allows for dynamic document names and URI rewriting. The tutorial shows an example that adds a date stamp to the document name, letting you keep an archive of "back issues". An example URI rewriting is the BBC News feeds JXL [4].

Finally, Shehu contributed the updated Showcase in JXL 2.0 format [5].

Regards -Laurens
