If by 'enhanced Tables' you mean 'not the vertical list of cells
separated by horizontal lines' the answers are NO and YES(sort of).
NO they are not (and never have been) converted to anything but 'Table
Records' (as opposed to 'Text Records' or 'Image Records') by the parser.
The 'enhanced Tables' are rendered to an 'offscreen window' (like the
images are) so you can pan-around them on the small display. If you use a
multiimage viewer, large tables are split across multiple 'off-screen'
windows and seamlessly panned on the small display (just like images).
YES (sort of) they are not searched, because the search routines only
serarch 'Text Records'. (I think they could, as the 'Table Record' is the
same as a 'Text Record' with a few more functions.)
