I have trouble with large standalone images on my HandEra 330. I have
trouble with the 20030611-am hires build, *and* the latest hourly CVS
snapshot build (09:05 GMT today), though their problems differ.
Panning the same images on the 1.4 "everything" release works OK.
On the 20030611-am hires build, the large standalone image pans OK,
but the image is clipped on the right. Is this due to the lack of
"multi-image" support?
On the hourly snapshot build, the whole image is there and pans OK,
but is shown in a 160x160 upper left corner subwindow of the device's
QVGA screen.
It all looks great on the 1.4 "everything" build. It would be really
nice if it worked on the CVS build, too.
I am using JPluck2 beta 4 to get comics from a feed, with alternate
standalone images enabled. Here is the JXL snippet:
<name>Dilbert</name>
<uri>http://dwlt.net/tapestry/dilbert.rdf</uri>
<images>
<embedded bpp="1" alternate="yes" maxWidth="50" maxHeight="50"/>
<standalone bpp="4"/>
</images>
I've reproduced it on POSE, if that helps.
I also notice that the CVS build is missing the HE330 feature of 7(!)
fonts. Does the hourly CVS build not have HE330 QVGA support turned
on?
Thanks for your help. And thanks for Plucker!!!
Kind regards,
David
