I just discovered a nasty bug with AutoUpdate: when you cancel a conversion, AutoUpdate will be started automatically, regardless of whether it was stopped or started.
This bug affects 2.0 beta 4. I've released a patched version marked 2.0 beta 4a dated 2003-09-29. If you already downloaded beta 4 you should replace it. Check Help -> About if you are unsure which version you have.
