This is my first time running Torrent, specifically Azureus version. Given that I am a first time client, thought I'd write up some comments so others can see what it was like. I am using the Windows Setup version of Azureus as I already had the correct release of Java installed. Download was fine and the set-up went OK. Azureus ran its own configuration routines which were simple to follow.
Starting a download was odd. In the end, I took the link in an email and chose File, Open, .torrent File. Put in the URI and went from there. The download occurred plus I was left with a small file named similarly to the downloaded file (presumably so I can restart the download, should I have stopped it in mid-stream.) Overall things look fine but I will not be keeping Azureus running. Why? Well, I am on dial-up and without a firewall.
