Oh, incidentally, the author of malsync, Tom Whittaker is AvantGo's CTO, and the malsync project is hosted on a domain (tomw.org) which currently has the Admin, Tech, and Billing contacts set to "AvantGo".
AvantGo may not have openly advertised this as their code, but it certainly came from one of their own, from inside.
