I've been using a Handspring Visor with Avantgo on my Mac ibook with OS X. Because Avantgo doesn't support OS X I've had to synch in classic mode to Palm Desktop 2.6.3.
I've just bought a Palm Tungsten E, which I think is great. The only problem is, it can only work with Palm desktop 4.0 which will not run Avantgo. After about 12 hours of aggravation uninstalling the 4.0 and reinstalling 2.6.3, I finally got my Handspring to synch to Avantgo to download content.
After I did that, I heard about Plucker. Palm tells me that I cannot run 2.6.3 and 4.0 on the same computer so I will not be able to check out Plucker to see if it will work for me.
Will this be a satisfactory substitute for Avantgo? Will I be able to get the NY Times, NY Post, etc.?
Is it very difficult to configure, or will I be able to get it up and running without too much difficulty?
Depending on the replies I get, I'll either send back my Tungsten e, or stick with it and use Plucker.
Thanks.
