Fixing the HTML made it work, but I'm not sure if there was any specific
change that caused the table code to start working, as I fixed everything
before trying to run it through he distiller again. I think it may have
been caused by an extraneous <TR> outside of the resulting table
structures, but I'm too busy reporting viewer bugs to worry myself with
reporting "Distiller fails on invalid HTML bugs." :-)

Is there any way to speed up the table rendering speed other than chopping
the table up into smaller pieces? Are tables inherently 1 bit? I see
lots of dithering artifacts....

As an aside: why aren't tables rendered on-the-fly? Is it too
computationally intensive or would it have required too much rewrite of
the viewer?
