Hello, Since no one is using plucker-announce mailing list to announce even major releases, it should be deleted.
Why? Because people who only want to know when there is a new version THINK that they will be notified if they subscribe to the list. And they don't. Since my March 2003 post: " Please announce new versions in Plucker-announce " there have been NO new versions of Plucker announced to Plucker-announce (actually just one beta version). However, the announcement: [ANN] Plucker 1.6.1 is out, with many bugs and issues fixed... was made to plucker-list and plucker-dev, but despite the [ANN] keyword, it was not posted to plucker-announce.
