On the iMac running 10.2.8, the Plucker/Sitescooper runs just fine, but
when I use the Desktop I get an error message
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Applications/Plucker.app/Contents/Resources/parser/python/PyPlucker/ Spider.py", line 39, in ? from PyPlucker import Parser, ConfigFiles, __version__ ImportError: cannot import name __version__ Installing channel output to destinations... Setting new due date... Tasks completed for all channels.
Hi Andy,
Please fill out a bug report on bugs.plkr.org
Did you change the parser? (i.e. download one from CVS?)
Best wishes, Robert
Hi Robert,
It must have been an error with my OS X 10.2.8 system. I have since decided to update that Computer to 10.3.3 and so far the Plucker Desktop seems to be working OK.
Must have been a configuration problem with the way my 10.2.8 system was set up. I had been using Sitescooper to call the Plucker Parser from the Terminal mode, so maybe something was set up to run OK there, but not OK for the Plucker Desktop version.
Thanks for the reply.
Andy
