I want to use JPluck just for the Pluck This facility.
I can get it to launch and run, but I can't manage to install the damn pdbs
that are generated.
1. First I tried putting them in my palmdesktop/myname/install directory,
but of course the flags weren't set.
2. Then I upgraded to the latest palm desktop to get quickinstaller and I
set up JPluckX to copy to the palmdesktop/myname/QuickInstall/ExpCard dir.
Well they get copied there, but then on hotsynch they just sit there and
never get installed.
3. Okay, so I need the conduit. I uninstalled Plucker from windows
add/remove applet, then installed JPluck again, but I get an error
installing the conduit.
I'm sure the plucker conduit is uninstalled.
The FAQ warns me about spurious userdata.dll files and tells me to delete
the old ones, but a quick search shows that I have a dozen userdata.dll
files all over the place. Including:
Palm\Desktop\userdata.dll
Palm\DocumentsToGo\UserData.dll
Palm\iSilo\iSiloX\Palm\UserData.dll
Palm\iSilo33\iSiloX\Palm\UserData.dll
Palm\JPluck 2\UserData.dll
Palm\Kinoma\Kinoma Producer\UserData.dll
Which one should be deleted, and where did these others come from?
And is this really the reason the conduit wont install?
