        True, and a knife can be used to kill, or to cut a fine steak, but
BitTorrent wasn't designed for the purpose of violating copyright by its
design, while the others specifically were. That is the major difference.

        Also, the protocol to BitTorrent, by nature of its license, is
open for review, improvements, and contributions. The others, while they
may be known (mostly through reverse-engineering), are not, and their
licenses are pretty strict.
