Thank you for the repsonses.  I gathered that most probably
plucking in jpeg files has caused the issue.  If I turn off
images the file size is compatible with a zipped file.
Unplucking the file back to html (with explode) doesn't give
any insight.  As for the suspicion of plucker looping back
I just pluck to depth 2 (I own the ebook source) so there
is no chance for it to loop back.
