How do I programmatically close instapp.exe?

Hi
I read the archives and I am not clear on the solution to this
problem.
I installed Plucker (not the desktop, only the spider program)
and I am having problems uploading the resulting plucker document.
I can install it fine with instapp.exe or quickinstall.exe, but then
I have to *manually* close the programs. I want to finish automating that.
The Users Guide mentions in section 2.4.2 a Windows conduit, but it does
not say its name, or how to invoke it!!!
How do I automate this last part of the process?
