Im trying to use plucker from an company LAN, through a proxy server.

My internet explorer is set up to use a proxy server at 172.21.1.7:8080 from my PC which is running win 2000.

Putting http://172.21.1.7 with port 8080 into Plucker, along with my LAN id and correct password gives http error 407, proxy authentication required.

When using Avantgo this user id and password gives access through the proxy just fine, so I know it to be correctly specified.

If I select to not use a proxy, of course, the requests also fail in plucker.

I have also tried installing MS proxy client 2.0 in case the proxy server cannot handle the plucker request (although it manages Avantgo just fine). This appears to make no difference.

I could not find any FAQ or postings where people have experienced this issue.

Can someone please help explain what plucker requires to successfully get internet access, or even how I proceed next in finding where the problem lies ?

Logs follow below. Many thanks if you can help.
