How big files will get when uncompressed depends.
Plucker seems very parsimonious with RAM. It should be emphasized that files which will not fit in RAM can be stored on your memory card and read since only the portion being read is decompressed into RAM.
I have an m515 with 5mb of free RAM. I can open a 12mb Plucker file with extensive hyperlinks and move around within it with no problems.
I don't have problems reading big documents, but I can't change font-size and font anymore. When I try, plucker quits with the error-message: Too little memory to decompress this site. Please free Ram! (The message is german, perhaps my translation is not very good)
I use plucker 1.6.0.1 from Plucker-Desktop for Mac OSX on a Tungsten T3 with about 20MB free Ram. Reinstalling didn't change anything. I would like to read in a smaller font.
Any ideas?
Ralf
