I had sent this about 3 weeks ago but I wasn't subscribed and I never
got a reply as to if my bug report had been accepted to the list.

1. Before reporting this bug I did:
[x] read the NEWS, README, INSTALL and FAQ files
[x] downloaded and tried the latest version of Plucker

2. What happened:
[x] could not compile
[ ] could not install
[ ] crashed
[ ] cosmetic
[ ] others: ...................................

3. Detailed description of what happened:

./configure  --disable-palmosbuild   && make && make install
[..]
make[1]: Entering directory `/source/plucker-1.8/plucker_desktop'
g++ -g -O2 `wx-config --cflags` -c -o exclusion_listctrl.o

4. How to reproduce the bug, if known (if you have a PDB
   that can be used then that can be very helpful for
   tracking down errors in the Palm application):

os, slackware 10.0
kernel 2.4.26
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+
wxWidgets-2.5.3 with wxWidgets-2.5.3-Patch02.tar.gz
plucker-1.8
gcc-3.3.4-i486-1
gcc-g++-3.3.4-i486-1

good bits from configure:
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/ginstall -c
checking for python... /usr/bin/python
checking "Python version"... "2.3.4"
checking for C++ compiler default output... a.out
checking whether the C++ compiler works... yes
checking whether we are cross compiling... no
checking whether we are using the GNU C++ compiler... yes
checking whether g++ accepts -g... yes
checking for gcc... gcc
checking whether we are using the GNU C compiler... yes
checking whether gcc accepts -g... yes
checking for gcc option to accept ANSI C... none needed
checking how to run the C preprocessor... gcc -E
checking for ANSI C header files... yes
checking for GTK+ version 2... yes

5. Configure options you specified:
[x] --disable-palmosbuild

6. The error occurred during:
[ ] configuration
[x] compilation
[ ] installation
[ ] parsing of a web page (URL: .......)
[ ] use of Palm application

7a. Changes made to the configuration file (.pluckerrc/plucker.ini),
    if the error occurred during parsing of web pages:
none

7b. Changes made to the Preference, if the error occurred during use
    of Palm application:
none

8. Error messages output:

see question 3

9. Fix, if known:
