Calling Plucker Viewer from another Palm application

Using SysUIAppSwitch I can launch Plucker from another application via a 
launch code of sysAppLaunchCmdOpenDB, but cannot specify a specific 
document to open.   Other than modifying Plucker's source code and 
adding a new launch code to PilotMain in viewer.c, or preloading the 
database Preferences typedef  and then  issuing a sysAppLaunchCmdOpenDB 
to Plucker's viewer is there any way to do this?
