Another option is to use gtk-plucker. I use it often when I am setting up new web pages for conversion to .pdb, prior to sync'ing them to my T| C. It's not nearly as featureful as the on-palm plucker, and also it doesn't render the same 100% of the time, but it's still very nice to have in some situations. If you'd rather not build your own, I could pass along my FC3 binary. That is, assuming your laptop runs a very recent version of linux. :) If you're stuck with a windows laptop, you likely could still compile your own gtk-plucker using the windows port of gtk, but it could be nontrivial to do so. A Mac laptop probably wouldn't be that difficult to compile one for though, if you're cozy with the "fink" project.
