I am still fighting this myself, but here is what I got from the hacker...
use stayon and staybelow when building your plucker page INSTEAD of using a direct url
I've found it very helpful to exclude everything and then add back in what you want. Under the "Limits" tab in the bottom box you can check "In addition to..." and click on the button. In the next window I add the links I want (with regular expressions as needed) and then I add
http://.* and set it to Exclude.
This way I know what I am getting because I usually want less than I would normally get by just setting the depth.
Just another approach.
