--filter is an option I hadn't thought of. I was thinking:
1) Modify plucker to sleep as needed ...or... 2) Use some form of traffic shaping ...or... 3) Use my "slowdown" program: http://dcs.nac.uci.edu/~strombrg/slowdown I imagine all four would be feasible.
