I found Jaime's script right along the lines of something I needed, so I expanded on it a bit. I've since used this script to convert my car stereo pdf, our baby's car seat and bouncer docs, and my university's maps into something readable with plucker. http://dcs.nac.uci.edu/~strombrg/pdftopdb.html
