The reason I suspect something in the ROM is because I have this issue even after a hard-reset. Even when I install just plucker and the fonts, I get the exact same corruption with the exact same letters.
To me that narrows it down to either a hardware issue with my T3 or some problem with the Hotsync on my laptop garbling something as it sends it through the cradle to my T3. If it's due to some piece of software installed on my T3, then it has to be something that's *pre*-installed - maybe my ROM has a newer version of DocsToGo that messes with the fonts, or something like that. I wish I knew. My T3 won't allow the T3 update to be installed, even after a hard reset. That's why I believe it is a later revision, with the update already in ROM. So if my ROM differs from yours, then perhaps mine has a bug in it that is causing the corrupt fonts.
