I did that. I tap a word, bring up the command line, tap the SlovoEd icon, and it brings up the dictionary without the word I was searching for. I'm sure there's a setting in SlovoEd or Plucker that I have missed. It worked beautifully on the Zire 71 with PPI, but I've had no luck with the TX. SlovoEd has a help line in Moscow. I've got Skype, so if I can't figure it out, I'll give them a call. When it works, SlovoEd is great. The resident function makes translating painless, and the flash card feature is terrific. I'm determined to make this work.

What I did was go under preferences>Lookup and selected 'Copy to the Clipboard' The all I had to do was call up the resident SlovoEd and the word would automatically be pasted to the search field (assuming the Sloved prefs have been set to copy from clipboard of course). Hope that helps. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of emjtds Sent: Wednesday, June 28, 2006 2:32 PM To: 'Christopher R. How do I do this? > Thanks, Terry Terry: In Plucker, go to Options->Preferences->Lookup and select "Look up in PPI" for the action. "Word lookup always active" is easiest. In PPI select "SlovoEd" for "Lookup word in" and press "Save". Thanks, I had already tried that, but SlovoEd didn't appear on my options in PPI, so I didn't know what to do. I tried to enter SlovoEd in the custom field, but the TX became unstable and reset. I finally deleted SlovoEd. I had this problem with an older version of SlovoEd and was forced to switch to BDicty, which also has a resident feature but is a far inferior dictionary to SlovoEd. I only tried SlovoEd again, because they released a new version which they said was now compatible with the TX. If you have any other suggestions, I'd appreciate hearing them.
