Greetings, gentlebeings!

The little hand is on the 3rd week, and the big hand is creeping
towards Sunday September 20, when we will have Yet Another Episode
of The Linux Clinic, featuring YOU, the Linux user with pesky old
Linux problems that you would like to trade in for shiny new ones!

We meet, as always, at Free Geek, 1731 SE 10th Ave, between 1PM
and 5PM. We have displays and keyboards and meece. We have wifi
and wired ethernet and power. We have crazy people who think they
can help you solve your Linux problems. You have a desktop or a
laptop you want help debugging, or you like to help others, or you
just want to prove you are crazier than the rest of us combined!

This is not a class - we don't even know what class is. The rest
of the building is closed - no store, no donations.

This month, I will be bringing 10 surplus Cisco Aironet 350
802.11B PCMCIA wireless adapters ( AIR-PCM352 fccid:LDK102040 ),
which we can peddle to those tempted to purchase the driverless
crap they sell at Frys. Begone, spawn of Satan! The Ciscos are
untested, but they should work well with the airo_cs driver. It
would be great if some wireless guru would show up and help us
test and deploy these on the random laptops that appear Sunday.

BTW, please leave the parking spaces near the front door,
and the table space near the inside door, free for people
with mobility problems.

Assuming John brings the key as usual, see you Sunday!

Keith
