moin moin,
I use KWrite in text mode for email. Long before switching to Linux I learned
to use < and > at the beginning and end of a URL to keep a link from breaking
at a line break, e.g., <http://whatever.org>.
This doesn't work with KWrite. Can one keep a link from breaking at a line
break in KWrite? If so, how?
Do you mean in text when you write an email? Do you mean you'd like it to
not break the URL into two lines?
The following would show up as a single, continued line?
http://www.example.com/aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Instead you're getting something like the following where it was broken up
and only the first line appears as part of the URL?
http://www.example.com/aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
ciao,
der.hans
