Localhost is where the connection will be coming from. Since it will be
coming from the copy of apache on the local machine, that should stay
localhost.

You are probably at the part where it is asking to to
supply a database user name and password. It's not asking
you for names of stuff which it will create, it's asking
you to supply the username and password of an already
existing mysql user.
