Yes, it does take time and money to run your own radio. But it also
takes time and money to run your own website as well. Or to do podcasts,
or run a youtube channel.
Legally you can run a radio station and not pay a license fee for it if
you keep your power output down and stay far enough away from other
broadcasting radio frequencies so you don't create interference. Welcome
to citizen radio.
First and foremost we must we must follow the rule of law. I agree
somethings are better handled at the national level. That does not
mean the central government should be given that authority if the
Constitution does not.
The 50 states could create a way to work together in a fair and
amicable way.
They system we currently have is in conflict with itself. I support
citizen radio. I think there should be the allowance for citizens to
create radio stations within their communities. As it stands now you
have to have money and time to own a radio station. That makes radio
and TV limited to big business.

While it has been used wrongly in some ways, that doesn't mean
your interpretation is correct. In fact it makes no mention
excluding the rights solely to taxation/tariffs. In the case of
something like Radio waves that don't pay attention to political
borders, it makes sense for them to be regulated at the Federal
level rather than the State. Unless, you'd rather have to find a
router for your network that only worked in AZ...
