To be perfectly honest, I think what you are looking at is overkill. I
run a file server (samba), web server (apache) and mysql server with an
atom processor and 4 gigs of ram. I run the OS on a SSD and currently
have 11TB or storage.
I also have a dell T7400 and that is more machine than you will ever
need for the job described below.
