On Linux Mint 17 Firefox 46 is crashing in numerous situations, including even when I try to run in safe mode, it just crashes. Everything else on my system is working fine and the system is up to date.
I have tried reinstalling Firefox; even tried complete uninstall and fresh install. But the problem continues t the same. Cannot open either extensions or add-ons because Firefox instantly crashes. Tried opening a private window and then I could get to extensions and add-ons, so I disabled them all, but when I restart Firefox, it crashes again.
