Joe, that begs the question:
Are you running out of space?
If not, why risk an unnecessary problem?

I tried clearing cache, but after doing so, I still
find the same number -- 3,104 "cache" files as before: $: find chrome | fgrep cache | wc <E> result: 3104 3148 198809
