Am 01. Apr, 2020 schwätzte Jim so: moin moin,
if you want pre-built, then I recommend looking at ZA Reason and system76. They'll also pre-install GNU/Linux for you. I have bought a few systems from ZA Reason. I make a backup in case I need to look at what they were doing with drivers, then throw on debian or a variant. That's worked well for me. I have heard lots of good things about system76. Newegg has been great for me for years as well. They fight patent trolls and win. NUC looks intersting, but I haven't yet played with one. For other similar stuff, I've done what Aaron suggested in buying a bare bones system, then adding RAM and storage. That has worked quite well for me. ciao, der.hans
I'm looking to buy a desktop pc but I don't want one that has windows already on it since I won't use it. Can someone suggest somewhere online that sells them? thanks--------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - [email protected] To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: https://lists.phxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
