Hi All, I know many of you have expressed your love of Thinkpads over the years, particularly back in the days when IBM still made them with quality. I came across this where there's a crowdfunding project to make complete drop-in replacement mobo's for the most loved models with fully modern processors, i/o ports, drives, and everything. Even recommendations for replacing the displays with modern 4k equivalents, though some require cnc milling to open up the space.
