Thanks Pablo!!

Looks like a viable option.

I can recommend Shotcut for video editing with advanced features. Also
SimpleScreenRecorder is good for simple recording of what is happening
on the screen.

Hi,

As you know Win10 is dead unless you pay to extend... It wants you
to
have an M$ account. Not a fan.

I have an HP laptop that runs win10. I use it for YouTube
exclusively.
Running the following:
- VirtualBox
- VS Code
- Putty
- FireFox
- Limited Chrome

I would like to transition my YouTube video creation to my desktop
that
runs Kubuntu 24.04.

Chat says I should use:

1) Screen + mic + camera recording: OBS Studio
2) Edit videos (cut, add text, transitions, overlays, etc.):
Kdenlive
3) Optional noise cleanup or audio EQ: Audacity
4) Thumbnails, slides, assets: Canva

I've heard Kdenlive is really good however I am surprised there is
not
one tool to record screens and edit that to make a video.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!!
Keith
