Been quite a while since I played with a chromebook. I know most of them don't have a regular BIOS, but something called 'recovery mode.'

Look for the Refresh key. It should be the fourth key from the left on the top, function key line and have a circle arrow on it. When you locate it, press and hold it down, press and hold down ESC (the escape key) and press and hold down the Power button. After a few seconds, if the screen pops up a message that says it is entering recovery mode, release the Power button but continue to hold down the ESC and Refresh keys. It may be a few more seconds before the screen says that recovery mode is on, at which point you can release the ESC and Refresh keys and follow some prompts to recover your OS.

If you get nothing on the screen when you've held down Refresh, ESC and Power for over fifteen seconds, you might well have a real hardware problem with the chromebook.

Good luck!

Well, I got the above computer in 2017ish. Yesterday I went to turn it on
and it wouldn't. The blue light comes on and the charge light comes on
(when I'm charging it). Did the computer die or is there anything I can do
about it?

It could be a bad RAM or incompatible RAM issue. I have had my computer not
display anything on screen after changing the RAM.
