Hi, The sound on my fedora 7 system is just not right.. the volume is WAY to muted and there is a noticeable white noise when the volume is turned up. I think the white noise is at least partially related to scrolling on my wireless mouse, but it didn't do that when I had windows on this machine.
I really don't know where to begin, but the sound quality and level really isn't acceptable. If I can't fix it, I'll have to install a different distro. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, -j
