Am 07. Mar, 2008 schwätzte Alex Dean so:
Both book are being used for classes at MCC for those who might be taking
classes. See below for course mapping.
I bought 2 books to study for the RHCE exam. I'm not going to have time
to use them in the timeframe I'd planned, so if someone else would like
them I'm happy to let them go.
Jang, Michael "RHCE Red Hat Certified Engineer Linux Study Guide (Exam
RH302)" for RHEL 5.
That book is being used for the CIS238DL and CIS240DL Linux System
Administration and Linux Networking Administration classes at MCC. I think
it's also used for the classes at EMCC. It's also being used by Dennis'
RHCE study group on Saturdays.
Sobell, Mark "A Practical Guide to Red Hat Linux" Includes Fedora Core
5 on CD (unopened)
Provided that's ISBN 0-13-228027-2, that's the book being used by the
current CIS126DL class at MCC as well as by the CIS126DL class starting at
MCC in about 10 days.
These were about $35 each, new. I'll sell them for $20 each. They were
I paid significantly more than that for the Jang book when I bought it.
